Proposed CSC Standards
Interaction patterns
How the existing patterns combine components.
Rules
Confirm a destructive decision in a dialog
Approval and delete flows use Modal, not a lone danger button.
Implementation detail
A single click is not enough for an irreversible record change.
Open a confirm dialog before a destructive action that cannot be undone.
Applies when: The action cannot be undone from the same screen.
Check: Delete asks for confirmation.
Filter tables in place
Search filters the current table. It does not navigate to a new information architecture.
Implementation detail
Proposed CSC Standard. The search pattern is an in-page filter.
Keep the query on the table. Show the empty state when nothing matches.
Check: A query that matches nothing shows the empty message on the same page.
Pair alerts and toasts by persistence
Persistent problems use Alert. Transient success uses a toast.
Implementation detail
Proposed CSC Standard. Using both for the same sentence duplicates the message.
Pick one surface for each message.
Check: Each message appears once.
